Our little B&B in the Modena countryside

There are places you visit, and places where it is worth staying just a little longer.

Next to Acetaia Malagoli Daniele, in the heart of the Modena countryside, we have created four guest rooms within a beautifully restored old country house.

Our small Room & Breakfast was born from the desire to give our guests the chance to experience this land at a slower pace, staying between Modena and Bologna, in the heart of Emilia’s Food Valley.

We never set out to create a hotel.

We simply opened another door to our home.

A warm family welcome

Barbara, Sofia’s mother, personally takes care of our guests throughout their stay.

She prepares the rooms, looks after our guests and takes care of breakfast every morning.

Our hospitality is simple and genuinely personal, made up of those little touches that can never really be standardised: a room prepared with care, a recommendation on what to visit, a cup of coffee and a few words shared in the morning.

Because, for us, hospitality has always meant one thing above all: taking care of those who walk through the door of our home.

Barbara’s Breakfast

Mornings often begin with the aroma of a freshly baked cake.

Barbara personally prepares homemade cakes and pastries, following family recipes and deciding each day what to bring to the breakfast table.

Breakfast includes both sweet and savoury options, with cured meats, cheeses, fresh eggs, tea, espresso and cappuccino.

It is not the breakfast of a large hotel.

It is the breakfast of a family home in the Emilian countryside.

And on some mornings, along with the scent of freshly baked cake, you may even hear our roosters crowing.

Because here, the countryside is not a backdrop.

It is our home.

Our Rooms

Our Room & Breakfast has just four guest rooms, each with its own private en-suite bathroom.

Double Room

Quadruple Room

An ideal option for families and small groups, with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, towels, toiletries, bed linen and slippers.
