Before the creations, their story. Every creation has a story. This is theirs. I thought about writing this page for a long time. Telling the story of something that does not yet fully exist is far more difficult than describing something already complete. And yet, I felt the need to do it, because I believe every creation begins long before the day it is finally revealed. Starting in September, we will begin unveiling four new creations. They will arrive one at a time, each in its own time. I could have told you immediately what they are. Instead, I chose to tell you how they came to life. Because if there is one thing I have learned over the years, it is that the true value of what we create lies not only in the final result, but above all in the journey that leads us there. Every new creation begins with a simple observation and a curiosity I have never been able to silence—a curiosity driven by the deep passion I feel for what I do. Every day I meet people from all over the world. I talk with them, listen to them, and observe them. They share their stories, their questions, and the way they experience our land and our Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO. Very often, that is exactly where an idea begins. An intuition. A question. Something that continues to stay with me long after the visit has ended. Like every project I have ever created, this one did not begin with a business plan. It began with a feeling. I listened to my creativity and tried to combine it with the experience I build every single day by welcoming our guests. It is a way of working that feels deeply true to who I am. I follow my own path, guided by a voice I recognize as my own. But I have also learned that the most meaningful projects are never truly created by one person alone. The idea may begin with me, but giving it the shape I imagine requires sensitivity, expertise, and hands more skilled than my own. That is why I always choose to share the journey with people I deeply admire. Not because I need someone to execute my idea, but because they possess talents I do not have—and talents I deeply respect. Each of us has different strengths. Recognizing them does not mean giving up your own vision. It means allowing that vision to become something even more beautiful. Over the past few months, I have had the privilege of working alongside master artisans specializing in paper craftsmanship, as well as other remarkable professionals whom, for now, I prefer not to reveal. Not to create suspense, but because these projects are still evolving. I know myself well enough to know that, until the very last moment, something may still change. Perhaps not the essence. But a detail. A choice. A small refinement. And I believe that is exactly how creativity should be. At least for me, creativity is never completely still. These new creations were never meant to change our tradition. They were created to tell its story. Through new forms of expression, while preserving the same respect that has always guided us. I hope that, when the time finally comes to discover them, you will be able to feel everything that cannot yet be seen today: the months of work, the people who have shared this journey with me, and the love that has gone into every single detail. I hope these new creations will inspire you at least as much as they have inspired me while they were taking shape. For now, I simply ask for a little more patience.
